A real person reads every message. Write to hello@epiphani.studio, or open Hush and choose Help → Send Feedback…, which can attach a snapshot of what your Mac was doing so we see it the way you did.

Updates

Hush checks for a new version when it starts and every six hours, and installs it in the background. To check right away, choose Help → Check for Updates…. The newest version is always at hushperformance.co/download, and the changelog lists what each release brings.

Requirements

Hush runs on Macs with Apple silicon and macOS 15 or later. Its engine uses Apple's Command Line Tools, which most Macs used for development already have.

Settings and a fresh start

Your preferences and per-app rules live in a plain file in the .cpu-lens folder in your home folder. To walk through the first-run choices again, open Settings → Setup & first run → Re-run setup now.

Licenses

Pro and Complete are one-time purchases. Your license key arrives by email; enter it under Settings → Hush license. If the email has not arrived, write to us from the address you used at checkout.

Uninstalling

Quit Hush from its menu, then move Hush Performance from your Applications folder to the Trash. If you turned on Deep Reach, turn it off first in System Settings → General → Login Items & Extensions.
